Job Description

Well established and growing company is looking for a part-time Delivery Driver for its facility in Newnan, GA. Ideal candidates must have previous driving experience and be available to work Monday-Friday, about 20-30 hours. Potential to hit 40. Delivering in
GA, AL, FL & TN.
Start Time:
3:30am-6:00am
Responsibilities:
Responsible for picking up and delivering product and materials from vendors and customers in a timely and safe manner. Follow proper invoice policy and procedure. Communicate effectively with the Dispatch Supervisor informing and updating the status of deliveries and condition of product. Drive vehicles to and from destinations, adhering to all DOT and traffic laws. Load and unload delivery goods. Comply with OSHA safety requirements. Ability to interact professionally with our customers. Other duties may be assigned.
Skills and Qualifications :
Maintains safe and compassionate animal handling practices, at all times, while performing job duties. Ability to work independently. Willingness to learn about all aspects of the animal care industry.
Physical Demands:
Employee is frequently and regularly required to lift and carry in excess of 50-70 pounds, stoop, kneel or bend. The ability to stand for long periods of time is required. The ability to transport, handle and place animals in their appropriate enclosures is required. Employee must be able to move animals for shipping or that are received, including pushing, bending, kneeling, and twisting. In performing duties, employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp; and to reach with hands and arms, at or above shoulder level. Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.
