Senior Citizens, Inc. is looking for a part-time meal delivery driver to join our team! The work schedule is Monday through Friday. This position requires drivers to adhere to an assigned schedule in order to deliver meals to individual home sites, volunteer drop off locations, or meal sites. In addition, drivers will be required to clean and maintain fleet vehicles. The following qualifications are required for this position: Drive vehicle from central loading area to destinations to assigned schedule. Load meals properly to ensure minimal spillage and adherence to food delivery guidelines. Communications with Director of Transportation to report disruption of service, client incidence, vehicle problems and other unusual occurrences. Delivers meals individual home sites, drop off locations or meal sites. Cleans and services vehicles with fuel, lubricants and accessories. Keeps record of trips. Provide excellent customer services to both external and internal customers. Other requirements for the position includes: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid Georgia drivers license and clean motor vehicle record. Upper body strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance is required to perform very heavy work. Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less. Ability to read and write. Please do not call to check on the status of your application.
