Duties Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups. Handle heavy lifting and merchandising tasks with proper safety techniques to protect yourself and others. Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, building rapport and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records using organizational skills. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with all safety standards. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation. Familiarity with retail store operations or merchandising is a plus. Strong math skills for pricing calculations and basic financial transactions. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and heavy vehicle operation is highly desirable. Prior experience in sales or customer service roles that emphasize relationship building will be advantageous.
