Job Description

Overview:
As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for transporting outdoor power equipment and related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This role involves loading and unloading equipment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all deliveries are completed according to company procedures and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport outdoor power equipment and parts to and from customer locations. Ensure timely and accurate delivery according to the daily route schedule. Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently. Secure loads to prevent damage during transit. Provide excellent customer service during delivery. Address any customer questions or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures as required. Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the delivery vehicle. Report any vehicle issues or needed repairs to management promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Follow company safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in managing inventory by ensuring that all equipment and parts are delivered and accounted for accurately.
Required Skills, Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Experience with outdoor power equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading equipment. Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns. Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus. Forklift certification is a plus but not required. This role may require flexibility to work weekends or evenings based on store hours and business needs.
