Part Time Driver - Medium-Long Haul

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including small to medium duty with trailer. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Skills Proven experience in route driving or as a courier with a strong focus on customer service. Experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
