Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload food orders using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Navigate assigned routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure prompt delivery times. Provide excellent customer service by delivering orders with a friendly attitude and addressing any customer questions or concerns professionally. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items or boxes to prevent injuries during load-in and load-out processes. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records in compliance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and report any issues encountered during routes. Requirements Prior experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Valid driver's license with valid registration and insurance Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices for personal vehicles.
