We're hiring a Propane Delivery Driver based out of our New Sharon, IA location. (about 60 miles southeast of Des Moines). In this role, you will be delivering propane fuel from Key Cooperative's storage tanks to customers' onsite tanks. This role is for you if you have: CDL with HAZMAT Endorsement including airbrakes and tanker or willingness to obtain. CETP Certified (we will train) Ability to work overtime; some weekends; and could be called out after hours. An outstanding work ethic with ability to pay attention to the details. Ability to always project a positive attitude to customers and employees while exhibiting good customer relations skills.

What you will be doing:

Timely delivery of propane to customer sites. Provides minor level service work and assists the service team when needed. Educates customers of K-factors and Degree Days and why auto schedule is the best for the customer. Be able to communicate and solve differences of opinion with the customer. Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times; exhibits good customer relations skills. Maintain and grow customer base by communicating potential leads to Key Cooperative sales teams. Maintain the truck to stay in good working order which would include but not limited to keeping the truck clean and presentable. Report all discrepancies of the truck, (repair the ones that you can). Perform pre trip and post trip inspections. Fill out and turn in paperwork and notify maintenance of needed repairs.
