About the Role As a Route Delivery Specialist, you will ensure the timely and safe transport of automotive products to our diverse customer base. You will play a vital role in maintaining our supply chain efficiency by managing daily routes, handling inventory, and providing exceptional service during every delivery. Responsibilities Execute daily delivery routes, ensuring all products arrive on schedule and in excellent condition. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee operational safety and compliance. Utilize handheld technology to accurately track deliveries, manage logs, and process customer transactions. Load and unload cargo efficiently, utilizing warehouse equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Maintain precise documentation, including fuel logs and delivery records, in accordance with regulatory standards. Communicate professionally with clients and team members to resolve issues and ensure seamless service delivery. Safely handle heavy materials, including tires and industrial components, using proper lifting techniques and mechanical aids. Required Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience operating a box truck or similar vehicle. Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 80 lbs and pushing up to 40 lbs. Current DOT Medical Card in compliance with FMCSA guidelines. Must be at least 21 years of age. Strong commitment to safety protocols and operational procedures. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks, such as forklifts or order pickers. Demonstrated history of excellence in customer-facing roles. Familiarity with logistics software or electronic logging devices.
