The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and previous experience in delivery or transportation. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading and unloading material when necessary. • Transport goods and packages to various locations in a timely manner.
• Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all deliveries are made accurately according to customer instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
• Verify customer identities and obtain signatures when necessary upon delivery.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and provide updates on delivery status. Requirements
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL is required.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and carry items when necessary.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
