Job Description
MY Deliveries Inc. is currently seeking full-time and part-time weekend drivers who are looking to join a local logistics company. MY Deliveries Inc is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground located in Jerome, ID, and we run roughly 25 routes throughout the Magic Valley. Drivers enjoy independence on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills. Weekends will be required.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, no felonies in the last 10 years Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Must work weekends Must be 21 years old in order to apply for driving position Must be able to continually bend, stoop and lift packages ranging from envelopes to anything weighing up to 150lbs with provided equipment for assistance.Driver Responsibilities:
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
- Proper usage of handheld device to record all activity for the day.
- Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.
- Friendly to customers & team members.
