Job Description
Simple Bites Meals
•Meridian, Idaho Simple Bites Meals is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Part-Time Production & Order Fulfillment Assistant / Backup Driver to join our team. We are a USDA-inspected food production facility , so this position requires following all USDA food safety, sanitation, dress, and personal hygiene regulations while working in our facility. Responsibilities Pack and organize wholesale client orders for delivery Verify products and quantities to ensure orders are accurate Label containers and finished products Assist with dishes, cleaning, and general kitchen/production support Assist with assembling, wrapping, labeling, and packaging burritos on Tuesdays when not needed for deliveries Maintain a clean and organized production and packing area Follow all USDA food safety, sanitation, and facility procedures Serve as a backup delivery driver when our regular driver is unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other scheduling needs Load, organize, and deliver wholesale orders when providing driver coverage Assist with other production and fulfillment duties as needed Schedule Approximately 20 hours per week:
Monday:
11:00 a.m.
•3:00 p.m.
Tuesday:
8:00 a.m.
•2:00 p.m.
Thursday:
11:00 a.m.
•3:00 p.m.
Friday:
8:00 a.m.
•2:00 p.m. Some flexibility may occasionally be required when providing backup delivery coverage. Requirements Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to help in different areas as needed Comfortable with repetitive tasks including packing, labeling, wrapping, and product assembly Able to lift and move boxes and products as needed Must follow all USDA food production and sanitation requirements , including restrictions on jewelry and no facial/body piercings while working in the production facility Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be able to successfully pass a background check Must be comfortable driving a company delivery vehicle when backup coverage is needed About Simple Bites Meals Simple Bites Meals is a local, family-owned food manufacturer located in Meridian, Idaho. We produce fresh, ready-to-eat meals, sandwiches, wraps, snacks, and other products for wholesale clients throughout Idaho and Utah.
