The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through prompt service. Duties Operate delivery vehicles vans, and other vehicles as needed. Load and unload goods using equipment such as carts and other tools if necessary Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Create schedules based off bakery needs. Communicate effectively with Managers and bakery staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and Assist with bakery duties as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock when needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience driving various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Previous experience in a delivery driver or courier role is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
