Job DescriptionWe're looking for a reliable and efficient Electric Bike Delivery Specialist to join our delivery team in Champaign, United States. In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering packages safely and on time using our fleet of electric bikes. You'll navigate the local streets of Champaign, manage multiple deliveries, and ensure every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to our growing last-mile delivery operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Execute timely and accurate deliveries using electric bikes throughout the Champaign areaPlan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel timeMaintain detailed records of deliveries, including package tracking and customer signaturesPerform basic maintenance and safety checks on electric bikes before and after shiftsHandle packages with care, ensuring they arrive in excellent conditionProvide professional and courteous customer service during all delivery interactionsFollow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company delivery protocolsReport any mechanical issues, damaged packages, or delivery obstacles to managementCommunicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and any delaysMaintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively in the communityQualificationsProven experience in delivery operations or a similar customer-facing logistics roleProficiency in riding bicycles and comfort operating electric bikesStrong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveriesFamiliarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management softwareExcellent customer service skills and professional communication abilitiesAbility to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyValid driver's license or government-issued identificationKnowledge of Champaign streets and local geography (preferred)Basic mechanical aptitude for electric bike maintenance and troubleshooting (preferred)Completion of a bike safety certification or willingness to obtain one (preferred)Detail-oriented approach to package handling and delivery documentationReliable transportation to and from the workplaceAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAdditional InformationBENEFITSFlexible HoursCompetitive wagesEmployee discount on all food itemsAdvancement opportunitiesPaid TrainingIncredible Bonus StructureOffered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance after 60 days of employmentVoluntary accident coverage/Critical illness coverageFlexible Spending AccountsAbility to contribute to a 401(k)
