Popular Chicago bakery seeking a part-time, early morning delivery driver for transporting product to our two bakeries (Wicker Park and Andersonville)! Drivers arrive between 4-5am to load up baked goods and deliver them to our two retail locations. We're currently looking for a part-time applicant for Mondays and Tuesdays with potential additional shifts as we enter busier seasons and expand operations. Established in 2018, we're happy to have our own production kitchen off of W. Fulton and Damen! Our bakery drivers play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our excellent and well-known baked goods!
Details:
Pay range: $20/hr (hourly rate + tip share) Shifts are currently on Monday and Tuesday Starting times range from 4-5am Part-time position currently available more shifts may be available dependent on season and business needs Growth opportunities always available regular driver's license acceptable Motor Vehicle Report may be requestedSkills and Essential Functions:
Ability to lift heavy items (~50-75 lbs. or more) frequently. This also includes carrying heavy items up & down stairs, ramps, etc. Comfortable driving a Sprinter Van with backup cameras (no rearview mirror) Responsible for ensuring all products arrive safely, completely, and intact to their destination within schedule Must have a clean driving record and GPS and reliable transportation Motor Vehicle Report may be requested Adhere to all traffic laws, etc. Load and unload truck at designated locations Must be punctual! Timeliness and time management is essential Must have open and consistent communication skills!Software/app familiarity:
Slack Deputy Routine vehicle cleaning tasks Good work ethic and great "drive!"Compensation Details Compensation:
