Appliance Delivery & Installation Contractor Innovative Freight Systems - 1.0 Chicago, IL Job Details Contract $1,000 - $1,300 a day 6 hours ago Qualifications Box truck Appliance installation In-person customer service Liftgate Package delivery Performing background checks Straight truck Commercial driving Full Job Description Independent Delivery Businesses Only | Delivery Services Agreement (DSA) | 26' Box Truck + Active DOT Required Innovative Freight Systems (IFS) is seeking established appliance delivery and installation businesses for travel route opportunities in Illinois, including Chicago, Rockford, Bloomington, and surrounding areas. These opportunities are specifically for contractor teams willing to travel and deploy to an assigned market, with travel routes typically providing $1,000-$1,300 in gross compensation per route/day to the contracted business. Teams must be prepared to commit to an assigned market for a minimum of two weeks, with opportunities to extend. Additional travel route opportunities are available nationwide. Contractors interested in continued travel may have the opportunity to move from one assigned market to another based on availability, operational needs, and performance. This is an independent business-to-business contractor role — NOT a W-2 position, individual driver/helper position, or entry-level opportunity. IFS contracts with established delivery businesses under a Delivery Services Agreement (DSA). The contracted business provides its own qualifying 26' box truck, equipment, insurance, and experienced two-person appliance delivery and installation crew.

ROUTE OPPORTUNITIES & COMPENSATION

Travel routes typically provide $ 1,000-$1,300 in gross compensation per route/day to the contracted business, depending on market, route volume, and services performed Travel route opportunities throughout Chicago, Rockford, Bloomington, and surrounding Illinois markets Additional travel route opportunities available nationwide Opportunity to move from one assigned market to another for contractors interested in continued travel Minimum 2-week market commitment, with opportunities to extend 6-day delivery operations Year-round travel route opportunities available for strong-performing contractor businesses Market-specific compensation is provided prior to assignment acceptance Contractors are responsible for their own business and travel expenses, including lodging, fuel, meals, tolls, vehicle expenses, and other costs associated with performing the contracted services. Unless specifically stated in an individual market assignment, these expenses are not separately reimbursed by IFS. Compensation is paid to the contracted business under its Delivery Services Agreement and does not represent wages paid to individual drivers or helpers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Your crew must have professional residential appliance delivery AND installation experience. Contractor teams should be experienced in the delivery, installation, hookup, and/or removal of a wide range of residential appliances and other home-delivery products. Products and services may include, but are not limited to:

Standard Delivery & Installation:

Refrigerators, washers, electric/gas dryers, electric/gas ranges, and other major residential appliances

Delivery/Drop-Off:

Dishwashers, microwaves, wall ovens, hoods, TVs, fitness equipment, and other large-format home products Additional opportunities are available for qualified teams experienced with advanced installations, including dishwasher installation, over-the-range microwave installation, built-in appliances, and other specialty installations.

•General freight, furniture, moving, parcel, or box-truck experience alone does not qualify.

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

Established business entity — business owners only Active DOT number 26' box truck with lift gate Experienced 2-person appliance delivery/install crew At least one team member who meets driver/MVR requirements Both team members able to pass required background checks and drug screening Articles of Incorporation or applicable business formation documentation Proper tools and equipment for professional appliance delivery and installation Professional appearance and exceptional customer service Ability and willingness to travel and deploy to assigned markets

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Contractors must be able to meet IFS insurance requirements, including but not limited to:

Commercial Auto:

$1

M General Liability:

$1M occurrence / $2M aggregate

Motor Truck Cargo:

$50K per vehicle

IMPORTANT

General Liability coverage must specifically cover residential appliance delivery and installation, including appliance hookups and in-home services. Policies with water-damage exclusions or residential/in-home service exclusions will not qualify. Additional insurance requirements apply and will be reviewed during contractor qualification.

ABOUT IFS

Innovative Freight Systems specializes in final-mile home delivery and installation. Our contractors represent IFS and our clients inside customers' homes, making customer service, professionalism, property protection, and quality installation non-negotiable. We are looking to build relationships with established delivery businesses, not simply fill short-term peak routes. Strong-performing contractor businesses may have access to consistent travel route opportunities throughout the IFS network year-round.

Pay:

$1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per day Application Question(s): Are you applying on behalf of an established independent delivery business, rather than as an individual driver or helper? Please provide your active USDOT number. Does your business currently own or have reliable access to a 26' box truck equipped with a lift gate? Do you currently have an experienced two-person crew with professional residential appliance delivery AND installation experience? Does your crew have professional experience installing major residential appliances, including refrigerators, washers, electric/gas dryers, and electric/gas ranges? Are you willing and able to deploy your crew and truck to an assigned market for a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks, with the contractor responsible for lodging, fuel, meals, tolls, and other travel/business expenses?
