Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining a positive company image during interactions with clients. Responsibilities Load and unload deliveries, ensuring that all items are secured and organized for transport. Operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to designated locations. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Handle heavy lifting and moving of items as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading goods when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory management purposes. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing stock and preparing shipments. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving or courier services is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and move items safely. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
