Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Part-time Delivery Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering auto parts and other items to customers using a box truck or flatbed truck. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Duties Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at customer locations Load and unload auto parts and materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies Follow designated routes efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe lifting practices during all driving and manual handling activities Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and supporting warehouse staff with manual handling tasks Qualifications Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with commercial driving or courier roles Warehouse experience is a plus, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or moving carts Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial truck driving or van driver experience is beneficial Ability to lift heavy items safely, following manual handling safety standards Knowledge of route driving, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation and communication Physical ability to perform manual lifting, moving, and warehouse tasks regularly Join us as a Delivery Driver - Part-time!
