Part-Time CDL Class A Driver - Saturdays Only Pronto Freight Ways is seeking an experienced CDL Class A driver for a permanent, part-time position working Saturdays only. This position is ideal for a professional driver looking to supplement their income with consistent weekend work without committing to a full-time schedule. Schedule Saturdays only 6:00 a.m. start time Part-time, permanent position Consistent weekly schedule Straight-time pay only Position Responsibilities The driver will primarily make deliveries throughout the Chicagoland area and surrounding communities. Pronto Freight Ways specializes in airport-related freight, but we also serve a variety of commercial customers throughout the region.

Responsibilities include:

Safely transporting freight to customer and airport locations Completing pickups and deliveries in a timely and professional manner Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections Properly securing and protecting all freight Maintaining accurate delivery and vehicle documentation Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Following all DOT, FMCSA, company, and customer safety requirements Representing Pronto Freight Ways professionally at all times Compensation Starting pay of $27.81 to $28.84 per hour , depending on whether the driver has a Hazmat endorsement Earn up to $32.96 per hour within two years Straight-time pay only Consistent Saturday hours Permanent part-time employment Opportunity to earn additional income with a stable transportation company Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have: A valid CDL Class A license At least two years of verifiable commercial driving experience A clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record An acceptable PSP driving history A clear FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse record A strong understanding of DOT safety requirements The ability to safely operate in Chicago-area traffic and at airport facilities A dependable and professional employment history Reliable Saturday availability Our Expectations Pronto Freight Ways is looking for safe, dependable, and professional drivers.
