DROP AND HOOK EMPTY TRAILERS

! You will hook up to an empty trailer at the main lot and take it to another lot that's only 4.5 miles away (roughly 12 minutes apart) . You will return to the main lot and repeat this same process traveling back and forth from lot to lot for the duration of the time. PART TIME 4PM-12AM HOME EVERY DAY!

MAINLY weekends (WEEKDAYS are rare but only when extra help is needed) Drop and Hooks Empty Trailers - NO

FREIGHT OR PAPERWORK!

! Target pay is $240 per day (includes on time BONUS) (Easy 8hr shift)

REQUIREMENTS CDL A

Required Safe driving record and history Satisfactory drug and background screening DOT medical card required Verifiable CDL A Tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 6 months

RESPONSIBILITIES

Transport empty trailers from yard to yard in a SAFE and

RESPONSIBLE

manner Communicate professionally and in a courteous manner with all involved parties; supervisor, dispatch, etc.. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and/or safety issues Complete driver logs using an ELD Document and submit the trailers moved during your shift Retain fuel receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures Report defects, accidents or violations Complete and log pre trip and post trip inspections to ensure that the truck is safe to operate and is compliant with all DOT and state laws Notify management of any accidents, parking tickets, vehicle damage, and major maintenance issues. Ensure that the company truck is clean and well-maintained at all times. SKILLS Safe driving record and history Satisfactory drug and background screening DOT medical card required Verifiable CDL A Tractor-trailer driving experience within last 6 months Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, ELD etc) preferred.
