Weekly - Every Friday Drive Brand-New 2026 Equipment & Build Your Career! Southland Logistics is seeking motivated and dependable Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. Whether you're experienced or just getting started, we provide training opportunities—including helping qualified applicants obtain their Class C license during training. Position Details Monday-Friday schedule Typical start time: 8:00 AM Routes continue until all packages are delivered Average end time: approximately 5:30 PM (varies based on route volume) Some Saturdays required; all Saturdays required during peak season No Sunday work Driver Requirements Applicants must: Be at least 21 years of age Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, including no cell phone citations or DWI convictions Be able to read, speak, and write English Pass a drug screening (including random testing) and DOT physical Successfully complete and pass a road test Be legally authorized to work in the United States ( E-Verify employer ) Safely lift and carry up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck Be capable of performing physically demanding work, including climbing stairs and walking briskly Pass the FedEx Ground approval process to become a qualified driver Have reliable transportation to and from work Arrive at the terminal on time and ready to work each day Be able to work in all weather conditions Prioritize safety at all times Daily Responsibilities Complete daily routes consisting of approximately 80-130 stops per day , depending on route area Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Efficiently load and organize packages for delivery Work independently while supporting team members when needed Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with operations personnel Safely and accurately operate scanners and track deliveries Utilize iPad navigation and routing software effectively Complete routes efficiently and assist fellow drivers when necessary Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times Training & Development Paid training provided for all new hires No prior delivery experience required Assistance available for qualified applicants to obtain their Class C license Technology & Equipment GroundCloud routing and safety platform Company-provided iPad Zebra TC78 scanners Vehicle Event Data Recorder (VEDR) Fleet of brand-new 2026 vehicles:
