Chicagoland and surrounding Illinois areas Responsibilities Drive a RAM-style pickup truck and trailer to deliver and pick up rental equipment from customer job sites throughout the Chicagoland area and Illinois. Safely load, secure, transport, unload, and inspect construction and rental equipment. Work with equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, track loaders, rollers, compactors, trenchers, concrete buggies, generators, compressors, and other rental equipment. Properly secure equipment and trailers before transportation. Perform basic equipment inspections before delivery and after pickup. Communicate professionally with customers at job sites. Follow delivery and pickup schedules and communicate any delays or issues immediately. Assist with keeping equipment clean, organized, fueled, and ready for the next rental. Follow instructions from the owner and prioritize multiple delivery and pickup requests throughout the day. Help with general tasks around the rental yard when needed. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Represent A USA Rentals professionally when interacting with customers and job-site personnel. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean/reliable driving record. Experience driving a pickup truck and towing a trailer. Experience loading, unloading, and securing equipment is strongly preferred. Construction, landscaping, equipment rental, or similar experience is a plus. Must be comfortable working around heavy equipment. Must be physically capable of performing the loading, unloading, securing, and general labor required for the position. Must be dependable and consistently on time. Must be able to follow directions carefully and work independently once given instructions. Must be able to manage multiple requests and changing priorities without becoming overwhelmed. Must be willing to work a demanding schedule when business needs require it. Strong work ethic, honesty, loyalty, and a positive attitude are essential.
