About the Job Papa John's delivery drivers are not only bringing quality products to our customers, but are also a part of the restaurant team. Delivering products is the main part of the job of course, but being part of the team also means drivers do different tasks within the store. We offer a flexible schedule to work around your life, whether that be school, family or another job. Papa Johns has different shifts available to work around you. All team members also receive an employee discount on our entire menu. Requirements Drivers must be 18 years old with a qualified driver's license. This means you must have a legal and valid license that you have had for 2 or more years. Drivers must have a fairly clear driving record. At interviews we will run a Motor Vehicle Record to check (it's like a background check for your license), Drivers must have a legally registered and insured vehicle of their own to deliver in. Some weekend availability is a must. Pizza is popular on the weekends and when we are most busy. Necessary skills include cash management, navigation abilities, effective communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures; providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone, and acting with a sense of urgency in everything they do. Perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients and taking orders. Work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Enhance the company's image by complying with uniform and appearance standards. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun. Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, execute cash management duties, and use the FOCUS System. Support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking an order and distributing door hangers during every shift. Protect the company's assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean work areas; comply with safety and security standards at all times. communication cash management
