A Sales Delivery Driver drives a truck or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sells or delivers goods, such as food products, including restaurant take-out items, or pick up or deliver items such as commercial laundry. May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.
We are a nationally recognized thrift store seeking a person with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills to drive our box truck for donations and help customers in our store. This position is responsible for safely operating company box trucks to pick up donations, assisting in the store to support overall operations, and providing excellent customer service to build relationships with donors and customers. Your time will be split between working in our retail/warehouse space and being on the truck for donation pick-ups.

Full time. 5-day/40-hour schedule. Saturdays required.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers during pickups or in the store. Safely operate 16-ft box truck to pick up donated goods, furniture, and other items Load and unload donations, ensuring items are handled respectfully and securely Process items by conducting light cleaning, determining the price, tagging, and merchandising within the store Assist customers with finding items, answering questions, and loading large purchases into their vehicles Work effectively alone or in a team environment
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (less than 6 points) Able to pass a background check; no convictions related to theft, violence, or sexual assault Be reliable, punctual, and ready to work full-time (typically 40hrs/5 days a week) Able to work independently or as part of a team Strong customer service and communication skills required At least 1 year of relevant driving or delivery experience preferred (box trucks or sprinter vans) Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50-75 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, lifting, bending, etc.) Customer service experience is a must, and any experience with furniture delivery is strongly preferred.
