Job Overview Are you looking for a part-time job working 3 days a week with local deliveries and home every night? New Supplies Company has a position for you. We have been in business for over 50 years servicing the Midwest. Our large stable customer base results in year-round work. We are seeking a part-time reliable and skilled Class A or B CDL driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting fasteners and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of various driving conditions and the ability to handle different types of vehicles, including semi and box truck. The Local Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Company truck is provided. We offer a competitive salary. Duties Operate various types of trucks, including semi, and box truck. Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo using a pallet jack or manual methods as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with warehouse manager and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Experience Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles is preferred. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Ability to operate pallet jack safely and efficiently. Previous experience with route driving and load/unload operations will be beneficial.
