Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our company and satisfied customers! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting furniture and large items from our warehouse to customer locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving skills and physical strength, will ensure every delivery is smooth, timely, and exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions to deliver furniture to residential and commercial clients. Load and unload furniture using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Navigate route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience. Verify delivery orders, inspect items for damages, and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers. Maintain cleanliness and routine safety checks of the vehicle before and after each shift. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate schedules and ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or transportation roles involving route driving is preferred. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting and moving furniture safely and efficiently. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar warehouse equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging clients during deliveries. Valid ID Familiarity with load & unload procedures enhances performance in this role.
