Overview Join us as a Before & After-School Program Assistant and become a key player in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children from the ages of 5 to 12 years old. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support young learners during critical hours of the day, helping them develop essential skills while having fun. Responsibilities Supervise children during before-school and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement structured activities that promote childhood development, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies Assist with homework help Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to safety standards and program guidelines Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but not required; training can be provided upon hire Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but not required; training can be provided upon hire Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain a positive and safe enviroment for children Clean background check and drug test Minimum education of high school diploma or GED equilivant Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
