Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a FedEx delivery driver, where you'll be the friendly face delivering packages with enthusiasm and professionalism. This vital role combines safe driving, excellent customer service, and efficient package handling to ensure timely deliveries that delight our customers. As a key member of our logistics network, you'll operate various vehicle types, including box trucks and courier vans, navigating routes with precision and care. Your energy and dedication will help keep our operations running smoothly and our customers happy. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Deliver packages directly to customers' doors with a focus on excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications you must be 21 years old or older. experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferred with route driving experience involving commercial vehicles like box trucks or similar. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks safely Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
