Suncoast Drivers is hiring a reliable CDL Class B Delivery Driver for a local, Monday-Friday position delivering pipes, valves, construction materials, and waterworks products to construction sites, customer locations, municipalities, and large industrial facilities. This position will be located in St. John, IN.

Job Duties:

Deliver pipes, valves, construction materials, and waterworks products to construction job sites, customer sites, municipalities, and industrial areas. Operate a CDL Class B straight truck/day cab with flatbed trailer . Make approximately 1-6 local deliveries per route , generally within a 100-mile radius . Safely load, secure, and transport freight from the branch to customer locations. Perform load securement , including strapping products and assisting with tarping when necessary. Handle some touch freight and assist with securing construction materials for transportation. Large valves and other products may be transported in protective crates or specialized packaging . Safely navigate construction sites, industrial facilities, municipal locations, and customer properties. Follow all DOT regulations, FMCSA regulations, company safety procedures, and proper load securement requirements . Customers will generally be responsible for offloading the delivered materials . Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Driver Requirements:

Valid CDL Class B license . Previous flatbed driving experience preferred. Experience hauling construction materials, pipe, valves, waterworks products, building materials, or industrial freight is a plus. Knowledge of load securement, strapping, tarping, and flatbed operations preferred. Must be comfortable making deliveries to construction sites, industrial facilities, municipalities, and customer locations . Must be able to safely secure and transport freight. Strong commitment to DOT compliance and safe driving practices . Training and additional assistance will be provided at the beginning of the assignment for qualified drivers who need additional flatbed training. Why Apply?
