In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to medical appointments, ensuring timely and courteous service. Your role is vital in helping individuals access essential healthcare services while providing excellent customer care. Whether you're driving a passenger van, shuttle, or personal vehicle, your dedication to safety and service will make a meaningful difference in our community. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including passenger vans, shuttles, limousines, and personal vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during all driving activities. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and professional customer service at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance. Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated local routes efficiently and accurately. Communicate effectively with clients and dispatchers to confirm schedules and address any route or service issues. Handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting of mobility aids or luggage while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Skills Proven delivery driver experience or shuttle driving background with a strong focus on safety and punctuality. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or chauffeur-driven cars. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes for efficient route planning. Knowledge of medical transportation procedures and client communication best practices. Ability to adhere to traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety standards consistently. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members. Capable of performing light maintenance tasks and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and readiness. Physical ability for manual handling tasks including lifting mobility devices or assisting passengers with special needs.
