AKA Enterprises, Inc Gardner, KS Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Driver's License Mobile devices Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic delivery team as a FedEx AVP (Alternate Vehicle Program) Delivery Driver using your own vehicle! This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your personal car to provide reliable, timely deliveries while enjoying the flexibility of an independent driver role. If you're passionate about driving, delivering excellent customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you! Bring your enthusiasm, driving skills, and commitment to safety to help us connect people and possibilities every day. Duties and Responsiblities Arrive at the Lenexa terminal on time between 8 AM and 10 AM to scan and organize and load packages into your vehicle. Safely navigate routes and deliver packages to residential and few commercial locations in Lawrence. Provide professional customer service and maintain physical security over packages during your shift.

Vehicle Requirements Vehicle Type:

Sedan, Station Wagon, SUV, Mini-Van, or Pick-up Truck.

Pick-up Condition:

Pick-ups are strictly required to have a fully covered and locked bed cover.

Age & Weight:

Must be model year 2011 or newer (15 years old or less) and under 10,001 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).

Prohibited Vehicles:

Cargo vans, shuttle vans, or commercial transit vans are not permitted.

Condition:

Vehicle must be in clean, good cosmetic condition (no severe dents, cracked windows, or inappropriate bumper stickers) Driver Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Must possess a valid regular driver's license (No CDL required!). Must pass a pre-employment non-DOT Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening through First Advantage. Must pass a pre-employment non-DOT drug screen .

Note:

Due to federal safety guidelines, this includes a screen for marijuana . Must have active personal auto insurance or commercial liability insurance meeting state minimums. Must have a smartphone and cell phone service. This role offers an energizing environment where your driving expertise makes a real difference!
