Flowers by Frances is looking for a dependable, friendly individual to join our team as a Floral Delivery Driver and Shop Assistant. The primary responsibility of this position is delivering floral arrangements and gifts throughout Hays and the surrounding area. When not making deliveries, this employee will assist with customers, sales, daily shop tasks and some basic floral design. This is a varied, hands on position for someone who enjoys working with people, stays productive without constant direction and is comfortable shifting between responsibilities throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

Delivering floral arrangements safely, carefully and on time in company provided delivery vehicle Providing friendly, professional service to delivery recipients and customers Answering phones and assisting customers with floral orders Processing in-store and telephone sales Assisting with basic floral design and production as needed Cleaning, organizing, processing flowers and plants, and completing other daily shop tasks Providing additional support during holidays and other busy periods The right candidate will: Be dependable, punctual and comfortable working independently Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record Be friendly, professional and confident interacting with customers Be able to lift at least 30 lbs Be comfortable standing and moving throughout most of the shift Handle floral arrangements and shop merchandise carefully Be available to work
