Job Description

Essential Functions - Provide instruction in preparation for Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) pre-trip truck/trailer inspection test for CDL training students Provide driving instruction in preparation for DMV truck/trailer driving test for CDL training students Maintain records of student instructional appointments and drive time. Oversee repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers for CDL program. Teach CDL classroom and student driving sessions assigned. Coordinate training schedules with other driving instructor(s). Coordinate with program secretary concerning additional drive time purchases and course completion certificates. Communicate with program coordinator about equipment, student scheduling needs, and other applicable issues related to the CDL program. Create and prepare instructional materials as needed. Work effectively within a team setting. Comply with policies and procedures set forth by HutchCC. Arrive on time for work and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
