Role Summary The Traveling Delivery Driver safely and efficiently delivers products to customers while providing exceptional service and representing the company professionally. This role builds positive customer relationships, ensures accurate and timely deliveries, maintains DOT compliance, and supports operational excellence through safe driving practices and vehicle upkeep.PLEASE NOTE
This position requires relocation away from your primary residence for approximately 6-18 months at a time. Key Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Deliver products safely and accurately to customer locations Load, unload, and secure materials for transport Provide exceptional customer service and communication Maintain DOT compliance and safe driving standards Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance Follow established processes, procedures, and safety policies Support operational coverage and continuous improvement effortsRequirements:
Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid Class A driver's license Clean driving record Ability to obtain a Class A CDL as necessary for business needs Ability to meet and maintain DOT qualifications Ability to lift up to 100lbs Ability to operate lift truck equipment Preferred Qualifications Six months or more or delivery experience Experience with Eclipse software Experience using handheld RF scanners Physical Requirements Ability to maintain a valid MVR and operate company vehicles safely? Frequently sitting, standing, walking, and driving throughout the entire workday? Frequently lifting, carrying, reaching, and handling materials? Frequently bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, and pulling? Occasionally kneeling and crouching? Ability to lift and move up to?75lbs? Ability to hear traffic, equipment warnings, and other safety-related sounds? Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records? Working Conditions Work performed indoors, outdoors, and in customer environments? Frequent exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions? Moderate noise levels from vehicles, equipment, and warehouse operations? Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, and mechanical hazards? Regular customer interaction and independent work? May require non-standard shifts, extended hours, and temporary third-shift coverage? Required use of applicable PPE and adherence to DOT and safety requirements?Travel Requirements:
Up to 100% over-the-road and expected to relocate at a minimum of every 6 - 18 monthsShift Demands:
Extended hours and/or over-the-road assignments. Rotating schedule dependent on customer demand. Expected 45-60-hour work weeks.
