The Service Technician is responsible for the delivery, setup, maintenance, retrieval, and support of home medical equipment and oxygen equipment. This is a hands-on field position with direct patient interaction and responsibility for ensuring equipment is delivered safely, properly documented, and maintained according to company standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver, set up, and retrieve medical and oxygen equipment in patient homes and facilities. Educate patients and caregivers on safe equipment use. Complete oxygen preventative maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting. Accurately complete delivery, pickup, service, and equipment documentation. Maintain accountability for equipment assigned to routes and company vehicles. Keep assigned vehicle organized, stocked, and ready for daily routes. Provide professional and compassionate patient service. Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic computer/mobile technology skills. Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Previous DME/HME experience preferred but not required; training provided.
Schedule & Benefits:
