Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and service-minded Pharmacy Delivery Technician to join our team. This position is approximately 50% delivery operations and 50% pharmacy support. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, solving problems, staying organized, and working as part of a team. This role requires frequent interaction with patients, coordination with pharmacy staff, route planning, use of pharmacy software, and independent decision making throughout the day. The Pharmacy Delivery Technician plays an important role in ensuring patients receive timely service and exceptional care. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Every other Saturday, 8:30 AM-1:00 PM Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deliver prescriptions safely and on time throughout our service area Provide friendly, professional customer service with every patient interaction Verify patient identity, including date of birth, before releasing medications Plan and organize delivery routes using pharmacy software and mobile technology Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Communicate with pharmacy staff to coordinate delivery needs and patient requests Assist patients with questions and relay information to the pharmacy team when needed Schedule and track routine maintenance for company vehicles Assist with pharmacy operations and support the team during non-delivery hours Follow all pharmacy, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Comfortable driving for extended periods of time Comfortable driving both locally and on the interstate Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and technology throughout the workday Comfortable learning and utilizing pharmacy software systems Comfortable planning and organizing delivery routes Comfortable scheduling and coordinating routine vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Professional appearance and positive attitude Requirements Must successfully pass a background check Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, including THC Ability to lift, carry, and transport medication totes, packages, and supplies as needed What We Provide Company vehicle for deliveries AAA roadside assistance coverage Safety kits in all delivery vehicles Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients in our community Why This Role Matters For many of our patients, you are not simply delivering medication you are delivering peace of mind, convenience, and compassionate care.
