Furniture Delivery Driver:

$14/hr - $20/hr (pay range is hourly pay plus bonuses) depending on experience. Experienced, top performing furniture delivery drivers are eligible for delivery bonuses on top of regular hourly pay and overtime. Louisiana Class D Chauffeur's license must be obtained prior to start date. .

Full time:

40-45 hours per week Typical shift 8:30am to 6:30pm Saturdays are required. Off Sundays and one other day during the week. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Providing excellent customer service on deliveries and at warehouse pickups Driving company box trucks safely Loading delivery trucks properly to ensure items remain undamaged during route Unloading vendor trucks at warehouse Assembling furniture correctly Properly storing merchandise in warehouse Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse Unloading furniture at deliveries with careful consideration for customer's items and customer's home Loading customer pickups at warehouse with correct pieces Communicating with customers and management regarding any concerns

Job Requirements:

Clean driving record (driving record will be reviewed prior to hire) Clean background (background checks, as well as random drug screening, are conducted on all employees) Ability to assemble and perform minor repairs on furniture Accountability and Dependability High degree of professionalism on the job Ability to adhere to the WCC dress code Attention to detail Ability to follow procedures Ability to lift 150lbs minimum, with the ability to lift 75lbs over your head. Due to the nature of this position and entering customers' homes, applicants MUST have a clean background and be able to pass a drug test to be considered for hire. Background checks and drug tests are required prior to the hire of ALL employees. Random drug tests are conducted regularly among employees.
