Job Description

Company Overview Falmouth Toyota is seeking a dependable, safe, and customer-focused Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our dealership on the road, responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of genuine Toyota parts, accessories, and equipment to local repair shops, wholesale accounts, and surrounding facilities. When you are not on the road, you will assist our parts department team with warehouse organization, shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe Transport & Delivery:
Load, secure, and transport auto parts safely to designated destinations following all traffic laws and dealership safety protocols.
Order Verification:
Inspect and verify the accuracy, quantity, and condition of parts against invoices prior to loading and upon delivery.
Customer Service:
Deliver excellent, professional customer service to wholesale clients and shops during drop-offs, acting as a reliable representative of our brand.
Payment & Invoice Handling:
Securely collect payments (checks, credit, or cash) for COD accounts and obtain proper signatures for proof of delivery.
Warehouse Support:
Assist with inventory management, organizing the parts department, and loading/unloading shipping containers when not actively making deliveries.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Keep the company delivery vehicle clean, organized, and properly fueled. Perform basic pre-trip checks (fluids, tire pressure) and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Driver's License:
Must possess a valid, current driver's license with a clean driving history (MVR check required).
Physical Ability:
Able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy automotive components (such as brake rotors, body panels, and tires) safely, up to 50 lbs.
Geographic Familiarity:
Comfortable driving throughout the local area and navigating routes efficiently under minimal supervision.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with dispatchers, counter staff, and wholesale customers.
Knowledge:
Basic familiarity with vehicle components
