Job Description
URGENT:
We are looking to onboard new drivers as soon as possible for this role.Overview:
We are currently seeking reliable EV (Electric Vehicle) Cargo Van Delivery Drivers to join our team. As an EV Cargo Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in New England. We are looking for full time drivers. Home every night. Bonuses and additional pay will be considered for consistent and reliable workers. Having previous experience operating an Electric Vehicle is a plus. This is a 1099 Position.Applicant Pre Hire Must Haves:
- Be able to pass a pre employment drug test (Marijuana is tested for)
- Be able to pass a pre employment background check
- Must have clean motor vehicle record
Duties:
- Safely operate an EV Cargo Van
- Consistently safely load and unload goods and materials into and out of the van without damage to items (Some items are 70+ lbs)
- Safe and effective charging station use, and logistical skills to correctly map out which charging stations you will need to use (if any) to complete the route on any given day
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Perform routine vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Operate a hand truck and/or pallet jack to load and unload heavy items, as needed
- Have a smartphone and be able to operate effectively to complete job duties
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role is a plus
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS systems
- Fluent in English There are opportunities for career advancement within the company.
Pay:
$190.00- $235.
