Delivery Van Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle various driving tasks, including operating a van and performing loading and unloading duties. Duties Drive a van or box truck to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of all materials. Operate manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and managing stock levels. Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when required. Experience Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential. Knowledge of warehouse operations can enhance job performance. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
