Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, ensuring safe handling of heavy items. Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions and building rapport. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, receipts, and route reports. Adhere strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe lifting practices during all handling activities. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales outcomes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with transportation standards. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely following proper practices; capable of lifting heavy packages repeatedly.
