Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Family Assistant / After-School Driver to join a vibrant family in Wrentham, MA. supporting our 3 children, aged 13, 10 and 6. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide reliable transportation and supportive assistance, ensuring children arrive safely and on time to their activities and appointments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and possess excellent driving skills, with a passion for creating a positive environment for children and families alike. This paid position is perfect for someone who enjoys flexible hours, engaging with children, and contributing to a well-organized household routine. Responsibilities Safely transport children from school to various after-school activities, appointments, or home Maintain punctuality and ensure timely arrivals at designated locations throughout the week Assist with light household tasks related to children's needs, such as organizing backpacks or preparing snacks Communicate effectively with parents regarding schedules, delays, or any changes in plans Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and local transportation laws during all driving duties Provide a friendly, responsible presence that fosters a positive experience for children during transit Experience Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time traffic updates Knowledge of local driving routes within Wrentham and surrounding areas Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with family members The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable managing the schedules of three school-age children. We would especially value someone who is warm and engaging with children while also being responsible and able to keep everyone on schedule.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record? Do you have reliable transportation and current auto insurance? Are you able to take and pass a background check?
