PTO Job Requirements:
1 year of experience operating a Sit-down forklift, Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck is required Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, pull and walk for long periods of time Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments Able to pass a forklift test before starting position
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy Load and unload trailers as needed Perform inbound receiving & outbound delivery processes Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading merchandise onto the delivery truck Safely navigate and assist with route driving to ensure timely and accurate deliveries Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies to move merchandise Assist with the verification of delivery orders and ensure accuracy Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interact professionally with customers Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling merchandise and operating equipment
Experience:
Previous experience as a delivery helper or in a similar role is preferred Familiarity with commercial driving practices and regulations Ability to drive various vehicles, including trucks with trailers, box trucks, and vans Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset
