Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Non-Commercial Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role involves loading and unloading the truck, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation:

Operate a box truck to transport goods and materials to various destinations.

•

Loading and Unloading:

Load and unload the truck, ensuring materials are handled safely and securely.

•

Delivery Documentation:

Complete delivery paperwork, including manifests and bills of lading.

•

Vehicle Maintenance:

Maintain the truck, keeping it clean and in good working condition.

•

Safety Compliance:

Inspect the truck before each trip to ensure it is safe to operate and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

•

Logbook Maintenance:

Maintain a logbook to record mileage, fuel usage, and other information.

•

Communication:

Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.

•

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to clients and represent the company in a professional manner.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

•

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

•

License:

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

•

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 lbs.

•

Communication Skills:

Strong oral communication skills.

•

Customer Service:

Excellent customer service orientation.

•

Dependability:

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

•

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with operating a box truck and using delivery equipment.
