In this role, you will be the friendly face of our company, responsible for safely transporting goods, packages, and materials to various destinations. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be active, work independently, and contribute directly to customer satisfaction through reliable delivery services. Duties Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle for local pickup and delivery routes Load, unload, and secure laundry using manual handling techniques and material Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs using mobile devices or delivery software Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving inventory and managing manual handling tasks Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or commercial driving background Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks is highly desirable Ability to handle heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; experience with manual transmission is a plus Familiarity with route driving, material handling equipment operation, and safe load & unload procedures Knowledge of traffic laws and weight handling in the workplace Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to use mobile devices for navigation, route updates, and delivery documentation Join us as a Pick Up and Delivery Driver and become an essential part of our team dedicated to delivering excellence!
