Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and personal cars, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize travel time and fuel consumption. Load and unload goods, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper weight handling in the workplace. Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages promptly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and digital records via mobile devices or onboard systems. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual transmission operation, warehouse operations, and the use of material handling equipment. Requirements Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles is highly preferred. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or truck driving experience is advantageous. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or commercial trucks safely. Experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, moving items, or using material handling equipment like pallet jacks. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices to ensure compliance at all times. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and record keeping. Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
