Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks, to deliver goods along designated routes Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling with safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies during route driving and vehicle operation Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and sales opportunities Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure automobile transportation safety standards are met Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or route delivery preferred; retail store experience is a plus Strong math skills for pricing calculations, route planning, and inventory management Proven ability to build positive customer relationships through excellent communication skills Knowledge of merchandising techniques and sales strategies to promote products effectively Familiarity with DOT regulations and heavy lifting safety practices necessary for safe vehicle operation and cargo handling Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while adhering to schedules Military background or experience can be advantageous due to discipline and familiarity with logistics operations This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in active environments, enjoy engaging with customers, and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
