Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Delivery Driver / Plant Worker, where you will be the vital link between our manufacturing plant and our valued customers. This role combines safe and efficient delivery with hands-on plant operations, ensuring products are transported securely and handled with care. You will play a key part in maintaining smooth warehouse functions while providing exceptional customer service through timely deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load, unload, and secure materials using pallet jacks, manual handling techniques, and material handling equipment Deliver goods to customers' locations ensuring timely and accurate deliveries Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly Assist with warehouse operations including moving materials, organizing inventory, and supporting manual handling tasks Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all documentation complies with company policies Load and unload shipments efficiently while practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques Requirements Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving, customer service, and safe driving practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Class B license and experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks preferred but not required. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is paid hourly—offering a rewarding opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a thriving operation.
