Starting at $17.88 per hour, with opportunities for annual increases

SCOPE OF POSITION

Responsible for the safe transport of FireKeepers Casino Hotel (FKCH) goods to and from off-site locations. Acts as a bridge between management and the transportation team. They combine hands-on driving and product delivery with supervisory duties, including training new staff, optimizing routes, and ensuring fleet compliance and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices. Responsible for the delivery of all items needed for all FKCH events held off property. Assists the Stewarding Manager in daily task assignments, scheduling adjustments, and monitoring the performance of the delivery team. Responsible for the training and evaluation of new delivery team members on safety standards, vehicle operations, and property layouts. Gathers all items as needed and maintains records of all equipment and items taken on and off property, including their return. Oversees and coordinates the routine up-keep, cleaning, and working with vendors on preventative maintenance schedules for all Food and Beverage fleet vehicles, ensuring detailed logs are maintained. Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained, not only at FireKeepers but also off-property while representing the company. Evaluates and optimizes daily delivery routs and schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time service for FKCH events. Serves as the first point of contact for drivers regarding vehicle issues, delivery delays, or on-site logistical challenges, escalating to management when necessary. Assists the Stewarding department during down periods or as cross-functional operational needs arise, at the discretion of management. Responsible for inventory and maintenance of all offsite equipment. Assists with cleaning and organizing of all storage areas. Possesses or has the ability to acquire a ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire, while continuously maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation. Maintains certification as required for operation of all company equipment and vehicles. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record as outlined in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Attendance Policy. Outstanding example of and a credit to FireKeepers Casino Hotel.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

An applicant's education, training and experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the ability to successfully perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. • Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required. Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license, as well as a good driving record. Must have, or be able to obtain within first three months of employment, a valid Chauffeur License. Possesses or has the ability to acquire a ServSafe Certification within 90 days of hire. Physical endurance and stamina, as well as effective communication skills. Must have one (1) year experience driving commercial or company vehicle. Must be insurable to company standards in order to operate a company vehicle or drive on company behalf. Must be at least 18 years of age.

GENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED. Possession of a CDL Group B driver's license. Ability to safely drive and operate a wide variety of vehicles, including those that possess a manual transmission.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Lifting up to 50 pounds; frequently lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds at least one third of the shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise level varies from quiet to loud depending upon business.
