Job Description

Belden Architectural Elements is a 100% employee-owned distributor of masonry and building products, servicing the commercial and residential construction market throughout the state of Michigan. We value our long-standing relationship with our industry partners, evolving quality product lines, premier indoor and outdoor showrooms, experienced team, and longtime industry heritage. We are seeking an experienced Delivery Driver, based out of their Distribution Center in Comstock Park, to support daily operations of transporting construction materials to job sites across the state. This role involves operating company vehicles, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent service.
Specific Responsibilities:
Safely operate a flatbed truck to deliver construction materials to job sites. Operate forklifts, piggyback lifts, or other material-handling equipment to load and unload material. Secure loads using straps, chains, and proper tie-down procedures. Verify orders before leaving the warehouse and upon delivery. Perform daily vehicle inspections, vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs. Maintain compliance with DOT and follow all safety procedures. Work in the Yard as needed.
Primary Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and CDL A. Experience as a delivery driver. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, 50-80 lbs. Familiarity with construction job-site protocols, a plus. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Experience working in a warehouse or yard-related position desired. Good communication skills. Able to work Monday - Friday, 7am -5pm and overtime as needed.
