In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Drivers are responsible for providing and using their own reliable vehicle for deliveries. You will be responsible for your own vehicle-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and other operating costs. Your enthusiasm, organization, and commitment to customer service will help ensure timely deliveries, accurate route navigation, and positive customer interactions. As a Delivery Driver, you will represent our company in the community and play an important role in creating a positive delivery experience for our customers. Responsibilities Safely operate your own personal vehicle while completing assigned deliveries. Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety requirements, and company delivery policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals. Load and unload packages using proper lifting and safe handling techniques. Deliver packages accurately to the correct addresses and locations. Verify delivery addresses before completing each delivery. Build positive customer relationships through professional and respectful communication. Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and promptly report any vehicle issues that may affect deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records, route documentation, and package information. Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding route progress, delays, or delivery issues. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company. Qualifications & Experience Previous delivery, courier, driving, or customer service experience is preferred. Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for completing delivery routes. Valid driver's license and required vehicle insurance. Clean and safe driving habits. Ability to safely lift and carry packages. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to navigate using GPS and delivery applications. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and complete assigned routes on time. Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned deliveries. Independent Contractor / 1099 Position This position is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity , not a traditional W-2 employee position. Drivers will use their own vehicle to complete assigned delivery routes. Drivers are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, and other vehicle-related expenses . Contractors are responsible for handling their own applicable taxes. Compensation will be based on the agreed-upon delivery rate and/or route assignment.
